Roots in Atlantis

This subject was avoided for a while, but it seems appropriate to bring it forth due to this year's prophecy of end times. However, the end of one thing is the beginning of something new, just as the downfall of Atlantis ages ago was the beginning of new paths towards science and discovery outside of the natural forces, this end may be something that brings the importance of those elements back. This is especially important when considering the possibilities surrounding this coming end, and that it will probably be rooted in the same elements, just as was true for Atlantis.

So then, let's look at Atlantis from a new perspective. We are re-creating it by twisting the perspective of what people think they know and making it something that wasn't (at least in this time line). This step would make it an era when it wasn't the technology that made it so advanced, but the people that lived there.

As mentioned before, the 5 elements is what makes the people of Atlantis shine. The mastery over each of the elements was augmented by hundreds of years of study and dedicated focus into the understanding of these components of nature. Moreover, people of Atlantis were a different species of human, just as the Neanderthal and other varieties have been discovered. The mental capacity was greater than our own, and an aspect of their brain allowed them to be in tune with the elements in ways the current species just cannot be. But just like the current species, the Atlanteans were people that grew prideful and their power corrupted enabled the worst of their kind to dominate others.

At the height of the empire, roughly 15,000 years ago, the world was very different from how it is known today. The ice that covered the poles was still very thick, and human culture much further along than noted by science. Civilization touched all parts of the planet as it does today, but in a more primitive manner. The great cities were in India, Africa, Eastern Asia, and in the Mediterranean low lands and the surrounding territory. A nomadic behavior was being observed in the Americas, but that was the most effective for the hunting patterns of the continent. Parts of the civilization of Atlantis was in encampments around the world. It was very unlike what is thought to be known, though the remnants of that time still exist today.

With the master of the 5 elements, there came a discovery of a way to harness the power of the earth in a way unthought of in the age. Crystals of Atlantis are known to us through the prophets over the ages, but it was always unknown what these crystals were, but this was when they were forged by the elementals. The crystals themselves were not the source of the energy, but the container around the energy of a nuclear reaction. Intense heat and light were produced within these containers, and was used in many applications to move machines and structures of the time without the presence of electricity.

The creation of these crystals led to many advancements, but their existence caused fear and awe in men. It wasn't long before war over them began, and upset the balance of the world. Eventually this led to many conflicts, and much devastation of civilization when the crystals were 'activated' and the nuclear fire destroyed many. Eventually, it was the same power that erased Atlantis in nuclear annihilation. It didn't sink, it was vaporized from the thousands of energized crystals.

The trade routes and people with the more advanced knowledge were mostly killed off. Survivors of the wars were unable to reproduce the same level of society that had been, and the children were never able to learn. These factors together prolonged the time of simple living until people developed the skills anew, many generations later.

As a result of the destruction on the land, all carbon clocks that hold radiation for measuring time were reset. The intense heat stored in the land, the water, and the air caused the planet to warm up rapidly, and the coastal cities were consumed by the rising waters. This is observed by cities such as the one found underwater near Okinawa Japan. Archeological sites in India have found bodies and cities with nuclear damage and radiation, while parts of recorded stories tell tales of a great weapon of mass destruction, describing the effects of the blasts.

Now, many years later, we were told that the power of the Atlanteans would return. Is this year the time for the return of the ancients? Will the elementals that destroyed their home return again? Will other truths come to light? We don't know. But this year should prove interesting enough.

Hopefully what does happen, will be something we learn and live from.
